White Elephant Capital Region
Welcome to the ASID White Elephant Auction and Sale. This event is held in the Capital region of our chapter on the weekend of June 20. White Elephant has become one our biggest fundraisers and there are many ways to get involved.
Please consider at least one of the following options to show your support.
Donations. Consider cleaning out the clutter or unwanted items in your home or showroom. We are especially looking for commercial and residential furnishings, artwork, and home accessories but all items are welcome. All you have to do is drop it off and we will take care of the rest! Please call us to arrange a drop off location.
Publicize the event. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, employer and other businesses. They can donate to the event or attend to find treasures to purchase.
Become a Sponsor. There are many levels available to meet everyone's budget.
Volunteer Your Time. We need volunteers to assist in preparations as well as on the day of the event.
What easy ways to become involved in one our fastest growing events! The proceeds from the event support the Virginia Chapter of ASID and local chapters of Habitat for Humanity.
Capital Region
For another year, the Capital Region has been very fortunate to have the assistance and support of Richmond Magazine. Richmond Magazine will be helping with advertising and marketing for the event. This year the event will be held in two parts - a silent auction and art sale on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 6-9 PM and a tent sale on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 8 AM - 1 PM. Both events will be held at Noland Company located at 2101 Staples Mill Road in Richmond.
